Here they are!  Marne, Jessica, Janella, Corina, Janai, and Maya.  The winners of the first ever girlstory ALL GIRL SLAM!!!  We are so proud of all the poets that came out.  You all read such brave, powerful pieces.  It was a beautiful night!  We also want to send a big thank-you to our feature artists: Aracelis Girmay, Tara Betts, Rachelle Cruz, Kelly Zen-Yie Tsai and Elana Bell.  We felt so lucky to have you all share your words with us.  Thank-you to the judges and the University Settlement House and Rapture Cafe for housing our prelims.  Also, a special thank-you to all the friends and family that came out to support girlstory and the young women on the mic.  We hope you will stay tuned for more news from the girlstory front.  Check back often!  Pics from the event available here.  Many Thanks!  -ellen
